Lewis is lefty specialist, having spent most of her high school career coming out of the bullpen. The southpaw earned all-Big North Conference Honorable Mention as a pitcher last season as she struck out 24 batters in 31 2/3 innings. “I love the game of softball and it’s an honor to be able to continue playing while I’m getting an education in my hometown,” Lewis said.
