Lilly Lewis joins ACC softball team

News Photo by Jonny Zawacki Former Alpena High School Wildcat Lilly Lewis became the newest member of the Alpena Community College Lumberjacks softball team as she signed her National Letter of Intent on Thursday at ACC’s Park Arena. Lewis is lefty specialist, having spent most of her high school career coming out of the bullpen. The southpaw earned all-Big North Conference Honorable Mention as a pitcher last season as she struck out 24 batters in 31 2/3 innings. “I love the game of softball and it’s an honor to be able to continue playing while I’m getting an education in my hometown,” Lewis said.
