Nicole Barbeau pitched a gem for Hillman allowing one hit with 16 strikeouts in six innings. At the plate, she was 2-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI. Gretchen Weiland was 2-for-5 with two runs scored; Saige Flaugher was 3-for-5 with a three-run home run, a triple and a single; Hannah Crane was 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI; Cassidy Benac had a hit and scored once; Autumn Kazyaka was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored; Sydney Klein and Elise Flaugher were 2-for-4 with two runs scored; Branna Casebier had a hit and Hanna Armon scored a run. Hillman will play in the state tournament starting July 13 in Tecumseh.
