Growing up in the Nautical City, Bailey Budnik developed a love for the game of bowling. As a standout out at Rogers City High School, Budnik now realises that all of his hard work and dedication has payed of as he signed his Lette of Intent to continue his bowling career at Aquinas College.

Budnik started bowling when he was in fifth grade because his father was and still is big into the sport. Now several years later, his fathers passion for the game has been passed down in a big way.

“My dad has always been really big into bowling and still is to this day. I really wanted a college that was small and personable. I wanted to keep the small town feel that I have here in Rogers City and Eastown is Grand Rapids was the perfect fit,” Budnik said.

During his time as a Huron, Budnik won the Division IIII individual state title in his freshman year. He finished in the top eight in his sophomore year and was in the top 16 during his junior year.

His early success has helped him develope as a bowler throughout the years and Budnik is ready for the challeneged that the next level of competition will bring him.
