The 6th Annual Sunrise Side Throws was held at Thunder Bay Junior High School last week and nearly a dozen track and field athletes, from six different schools, attended the clinic to improve their skills in shot put, discus, and hammer throw. All participants demonstrated excellent engagement and made positive progress learning technical drills and progressions to improve their future performance. Instruction was led by University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Throws Coach Trevor Roznowski accompanied by Alpena High Alum/State Qualifier Melody Kauffman and Gladwin High School alum/all-state thrower Makenzie Price.
