Wildcat girls fall to Cadillac
CADILLAC — The Alpena Wildcats varsity girls basketball team, 3-18, lost to the Cadillac Vikings, 59-29, on Tuesday night in a Big North Conference game in Cadillac.
The Vikings took control early, setting the tempo, and jumping out to a 15-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The score at halftime was 37-10 and Cadillac would pull away until the final sounded at the end of the contest.
The last home game for the Wildcats is Friday against Petoskey at Arthur Gillespie Gymnasium at the Alpena High school. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
