Lady Tigers tame Owls, improve to 13-2
HILLMAN – The Hillman JV Lady Tigers defended their home court with authority on Monday, stifling the Oscoda Owls in a 34-18 victory.
The Tigers’ defense was the story of the night, spearheaded by Riley Cook, who turned defense into offense with six steals to go along with her 10 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
Torri Brown added eight points and two steals, while Raelynn Hartzell provided a strong presence in the paint with six points and five rebounds.
Now sitting at an impressive 13-2, Hillman looks to finish their season strong with two final home games this week against the Tawas Braves and Cheboygan Chiefs.
