GAYLORD — It was a tough loss for Alpena, 9-9, who was going for the season sweep against Gaylord, 7-10. The Wildcats held a three-point lead at halftime. The game went back and forth throughout. Gaylord shot the ball well and jumped to a 10-point lead at the end of third quarter. Alpena rallied and got within seven points in the last couple minutes of the game, unfortunately it was not enough.
