Hillman boys remain undefeated

The Hillman Tigers boy’s basketball team remains undefeated after it defeated Hale 70-36 on Monday in Hale.

The team improves to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Little Dipper NSL Division.

Hillman would start fast and opened up a 26-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back as they pulled away for the win.

Hillman Coach Eric Muszynski said he liked his term’s energy to begin the game and its maturity to overcome a slight letdown before the half.

“We came out with a lot of intensity tonight and it showed,” he said. “We kinda fell asleep in the second quarter but locked back in the second half. It was a nice game with balanced scoring and a lot of guys had a decent amount of playing time.”

Junior guard Ty Muszynski scored 17 points, while junior center Eddie Prue had a well-rounded game with 18 points, six rebounds, and six steals. He also added five dunks. Senior guard Aedan Tucker would chip in with 10 points. Hillman returns to action on Thursday when they return home to face the Tawas Braves.
