The Jr. Wildcats 12U PeeWee AA team won the Great Lakes Winter Classic tournament last weekend in Holland, finishing the event undefeated. The team secured the championship with a 3-1 victory in the final game. The team was led by head coach Matt Frantz, with assistant coaches Zac Rousseau and Chris Carlson.

“I’m so proud of these kids. Everything we’ve worked on in practice showed up in the games this weekend,” Frantz said. “They trusted each other, they made the right hockey play, and they didn’t play selfish hockey. They played team hockey — and that’s why they’re champions.”
