Wildcat girls golf team wins Cheboygan Invitational

The Alpena High School Girls Golf Team won the Cheboygan Invitational on Monday, shooting 384 as a team, beating second-place Cadillac, who shot 387.
Alpena’s Grace Bouchard was medalist, shooting 76.
The Wildcat J.V. team also competed, and won the J.V. portion of the tournament, shooting 489. Hannah Brownridge shot 114 and was J.V. medalist. Claire Kinsey was second place in J.V., shooting 116, and Brielle O’Connor was sixth with 127.
This is the first outright tournament win for the program in almost two decades.
