Alcona came up short against AuGres on Friday by a score of 26-0.

According to Coach Jason Somers, the defense played well, with three seniors leading the charge: Gavin Dellar with 14 tackles, Ben Johnston with 12 tackles, and Keegan Ritchie with 11 tackles. The offense is still yet to get on track, but was led by Adalai Liebler, who carried 27 times for 62 yards.

Alcona will be hosting Morrice at home at 7 p.m. on Friday.
