Erik Peterson, Grace Bouchard win 2025 City Open

ALPENA — Erik Peterson and Grace Bouchard earned championship trophies in the 58th Annual City Open held Aug. 2 and 3 at Alpena Golf Club.

Peterson won the men’s championship flight with a two-day score of 149. Todd Skiba placed second in that flight with a score of 151, followed by Easton Schultz in third with 154.

On the women’s side, teen Grace Bouchard took the championship with an actual score of 163, and Jeanne Graichen and Sydney Silver followed, both scoring 157.

In the men’s first flight, Al Karstens took top honors with 139, followed by Brandon Whitscell in second with 147, and Guy Smith in third with 149.

In the men’s second flight, Jon Deffendall won with 146, with Sean McNamara in second with 150, and Todd Kasubowski in third with 151.

In the men’s senior flight, Rick Jaworowski won with 148, followed by Rick Sterling in second with 149, and Jim Olesen in third with 150.

In the men’s senior scratch flight, Bob Centala won with 145, Dave Karschnick placed second with 158, and Tony Crabtree clenched third with 162.
