Peace cannot exist without justice

By Renia Saddler 1 min read

What this 9/11 anniversary means to me is mourning for the world, for all mankind, not just for our souls, alive and dead, but for our intellect, our ability to think critically and to investigate and question our reality in light of the truth, which is love and which cannot exclude justice. Sept. 11, to me, is one event in a series which unveils America's imperialist mindset and her total war economic dependency since World War II and all the atrocities that have occurred as a consequence. It's evidence that peace cannot exist without justice and that, as Americans, we are tragically far from understanding that.
