NGOs aiding migrants should repay all of us
Dear Editor:
Kudos to Mr. McClung on his letter Sept. 7.
Who do these non-governmental organizations (NGOs) think they are, and what nerve and right do they have to circumvent the Congress, and the will of the people? When and if we get responsible people in office, they should immediately charge these organizations, and whoever authorized them with treason for aiding and abetting felon illegal immigrants! They have catered and pampered these people with outrageous costs imposed on the taxpayer, like lodging with meals in places like Ramada Inn.
They should be forced to repay the taxpayers all expenses! If anything I can’t stand is these do-gooders imposing their objectives at the time and expense of others! Whatever happened to government by the people, etc.?
Kamala Harris is bluffing her way through and lacks experience. Like Joe Biden, she can’t remember what she’s said or done in the last 24 hours. Who gave her permission to use taxpayer money to bail out these rioters in Wisconsin and other states? Why not help the Jan. 6 demonstrators?
One statement President Donald Trump made years ago proved to me that he is a true representative of the people. It was a historical statement like Patrick Henry made of “give me liberty or give me death.” Trump was discussing the trade and tariff situation, and said, “Hey, what are the American people getting out of this?”
I have been listening to the politicians since the 1940s, and I can’t remember hearing anything like this! It hit me like a thunderclap, and I felt that we have a real representative, and I feel strongly that he made a historical statement never heard before. I hope you historians take note!
