MyMichigan staff, I am grateful for you!

As I incoherently stumbled into the doors of our local ER, the highly trained and quick-thinking staff immediately knew and reacted to my situation.

Even though I had self-administered, it wasn’t enough to counteract my illness. Once the treatment began, and approximately 15 minutes but probably less as I don’t recall, of the quickest and fastest response from the physician and roughly five nurses to get the appropriate medications, EKG, and chest X-ray and for the next six hours, it was a waiting game but with 100% assurance I would recover.

I am grateful to all starting with the front desk staff and those behind the curtain that sought to my needs to include my wife, Cathy! Who knew a bee or wasp sting would make one deep dive into how life is so fragile yet so precious.
