So grateful for the care I recently received
I’ve had two hernias for 12 years because of fear of having them taken care of. On a visit with my doctor, Dr. Werth, she made an appointment with Dr. Hanna to have them taken care of. Two days later, Dr. Hanna’s office called to make an appointment to see Dr. Hanna. He said why did I wait so long, I know it was bad. He’d do the surgery on June 15.
The wife and I had to get to the hospital at noon. I registered and entered the new area. Three minutes later they called my name and took me to a private room. It was like ‘Boom.’ I was on my way! A nurse came in and checked my vitals and started an IV, then a nurse came in and shaved me. There was no waiting and I was on my way to the O.R. Then to recovery where, while sleeping, I heard a nurse calling, ‘Andew, you have to wake up now’ Then back to my private room. After two cups of coffee and two blueberry muffins and a chat with Dr. Hanna, I was on my way out. Another nurse wheeled me to the car.
It truly was a great experience. They are all angels and very caring, from the registration lady, to the nurse that wheeled me out, they were all so special. I’m grateful to you all. A private room — wow — and no curtains.
