Always something useful in Puls’ columns
Doris did it again!
Everyone knows I am a Raconteur. I weighed in to our newspaper with Letters to the Editor when I chose to comment on something I saw there. I sometimes write stories to share with all who care to read them and I love The News for sharing space for the many different varieties of stories I get to enjoy while quaffing my beverage. (That’s fancy talk for slurping my tea).
But I Look Forward to seeing Doris Puls’ byline when I open my paper! Why? Because she ALWAYS has something in whatever she writes that I can take and make my own. Or as some would say make use of.
Thursday’s was the BEST! As she put it: thinking about End of Life may be unpleasant. Yes it can be. But we all know horror stories – and many in our own families – about Auntie, or Grandpa who did nothing and when they passed the nightmare left behind was bad.
She touched base with the right people, shared the words of wisdom they gave her and passed it on to the rest of us to use or ignore.
I’m so glad she shares with all of us Up North Readers!
Now I’d better get that file started! Think I’ll call it The Last Hurrah!
