I am writing to let you know I did go to the meeting at the Alpena County annex building on April 17 to discuss the animal control facility at the fairgrounds. They went all around that subject and I did not stay for the whole meeting. They had decided to do an article in the newspaper regarding a vote to see if anyone was in favor of animal control or not.

The article was in The Alpena News to see if you were in favor of animal control. This small article did not specify that this vote was also to be at the courthouse and sheriff’s office, for those of you that do not have a computer. To vote, you can go to SurveyMonkey.com/r/SKCZPRS.

This article did not specify what this was actually for. There was a website to vote. I went to that website and there was nothing to vote on. Had I not been there, I wouldn’t have known what the article was all about. Terrible survey! Per Mary Catherine Hannah, I guess this was going to fix everything. There were going to run this for 30 days. I’m sure the county administrator will win with this type of ad. Where are we going to put all the dogs that Michelle Reid collects in her rounds? She does a wonderful job with what she has to work with. The Humane Society is not going to collect these dogs. You people aren’t thinking too well.
