In rebuttal to passage of new Marriage Act
In rebuttal to the Letter to the Editor in Saturday’s paper, “Marriage Act moves us to a more perfect union.”
It is a shame that our government should have to make any laws pertaining to marriage
God is the one who ordained marriage. Genesis 2:18: “And the Lord God said it is not good that man should be alone. I will make him a help meet for him.” Genesis 2:22: “And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made He a woman.” Genesis 2:24: “There fore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh.”
Food for thought. Read in your Bible Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13, also Romans 1:21; 1:26 and 1:27.
Because God said homosexuality is an abomination, He destroyed whole cities, Sodom and Gomorrah, with fire and brimstone and all the inhabitants in them, because they were so wicked.
Nothing has changed. All people have a choice. All people have a choice to whom they will marry.
The question is, am I going to do things my way?
Or God’s way?
God still loves the sinner, but he still hates the sin.
