Last week there was a letter from Walt Plohocky about the great care he received from Doc. Beltinck and the team from MyMichigan Health Center Alpena. I just got a total hip replacement from the same group and received the same unbelievable treatment.

I am 75 years old and this was my first surgery and was very nervous about the entire procedure and have been in a lot of pain before learning of my problem and it was suggested by people to go to Traverse City, Saginaw or elsewhere.

After talking with a few friends from a coffee group from Cabin Creek, they convinced me to stay in Alpena. It’s the best decision I ever made. Why travel when we have the best doctors and facilities right here in Alpena? I was in the hospital by eight and in the car home before four with less pain. My Michigan Medical Center Alpena is my go-to place. I’m grateful to Doc. Beltinck and the entire medical team.
