On abortions and so-called abortion rights
This letter is about abortion. I am pro-choice. You will not believe it as you read this letter, but I will explain later.
Let’s discuss what pregnancy is not. It is not a disease, a sickness or virus or an accident. It is 100% controllable by humans. Everybody should know by now that the Supreme Court did not ban abortion. The so-called “rights” to an abortion were sent back to the people in the states to legislate the matter. The truth is governments, state or federal, have no rights to legislate in these types of matters. People say we had the “right” for 50 years. Well, we did not have the “right” 200 years before that.
Abortion is against God’s will and therefore should be against everybody’s will. The word abortion does not appear in God’s dictionary. It is mankind’s desire to have “abortion rights” to cover up for their mistakes. We should not try to legislate abortion — it is well above our pay grade.
This “baby” is totally innocent, nothing to say in the matter. There are 3,000 abortions in this country every day. That computes to over 1 million a year and that only accounts for the reported abortions. How about the ones that go unreported such as the “morning after pill” and other chemical abortions. Why does God put up with us? Aren’t you happy your mother chose life?
For those who have gone through an abortion, it is not a damnation of your soul. Any clergyman or professing Christian can explain forgiveness to you. Oh yes! That statement about me being pro-choice. That choice must be made before having unprotected sex.
