Grateful to those who come forward to help
This year, my wife and I were named Outstanding Citizens for 2021. It was an honor that was a great surprise to the both of us and with that honor came some unexpected outcomes.
After five decades of trying to meet the needs of many organizations, charities, and those in need, some known and unknown came forward to help.
With the demand for help from people in need, many have responded to help. Our ability to store all these contributions of clothes, etc, made it necessary to refuse many items.
Along comes John Snyder, owner of Thunder Bowl Lanes. He said, “I have a lot of unused storage space for you to use until the need arises.” John was a real help and has been a real asset to our community.
We’re grateful for John and a few angels we have that have made it possible to continue.
