Commissioner Robert Adrian has served as an Alpena County commissioner for 10 years. The only Democrat on the board, Bob has been elected by his fellow commissioners as chairman for the past three years. Prior to his retirement, Bob worked for the Alpena City Fire Department for 36 years and at his retirement held the position of assistant chief. Politics doesn’t affect Bob’s decisions. He has always been fair-minded, regardless of party. Bob provided strong leadership through the COVID pandemic and is currently the senior-most commissioner. Now is not the time for a change in leadership. We need Bob’s steady hand at the helm. As a Republican and commissioner from District 3, I fully endorse Robert Adrian for District 2 commissioner.
