Money needs to go to Ian victims, other needs

As I write this, we are far from over from the devastation of Hurricane Ian. A large blocking high pressure area over the Great Lakes and New York, is slowing down the Northward movement, which is bad news. Moisture from the gulf and the Atlantic Gulf Stream will be streaming north and colliding with the Appalachians for more catastrophic flooding.

But what boils my blood is the billions that Biden is handing away to a former Russian country in which we have no interest and is not of any concern of ours. Biden gave away in the last three months, billions, and now he proposes another 4.5 billion. Why not put that money where it’s needed like the victims of Ian and domestic needs?

Where is there such a big concern about a territory that was once Russia is a big mystery? It’s a problem of the UN, NATO and Europe. Why is it that we contributed the most money, according to a current survey, and why our people are always spearheading every conflict on the planet?

If this is the case, then why did we sit back when WWII ended and let the Russians take over most of Europe and enslave Poland? Remember Wallenza the union chief, and how the Russians treated him? As late as 1955, they slaughtered people in Hungary in the streets with their tanks, and in the mid-1960s, they invaded the former Yugoslavia and their leader Dupsheck begged for anyone to help. We did nothing.

So why the big change in heart now and what is so important about Ukraine? Putin is not going to invade anybody else. It was Biden’s meddling that dragged this war on and on. Is it worth the risk for a full scale nuclear war over it and/or Taiwan.
