Consider voting Democratic on November 8
Election Day, Nov. 8, marks a special day for all Americans, as it is the day we all come together to protect our democracy and express our freedom in the form of our vote.
The Presque Isle County Democratic Party respectfully asks that you consider voting Democratic this election.
The reasons are clear:
(1) The assault on our freedom regarding reproductive health.
(2) The assault on our freedom regarding our right to vote.
(3) The assault on our environment and access to clean air and water.
(4) The assault on our Social Security and Medicare, including the denial of access to quality health care.
(5) The need to stop unrestricted spending in the form of corporate giveaways.
There are three proposals on our ballot that can help stem some of the issues noted above:
Proposal 1 “Voters for Transparency and Term Limits”.
A yes vote would improve transparency and give legislators more time in one position to focus on serving their constituents.
Vote Yes on Proposal 1.
Proposal 2 “Promote the Vote”.
This measure offers flexibility for voters to cast their ballots, makes elections more accessible and ensures election security while protecting voter privacy.
Vote Yes on Proposal 2.
Proposal 3 “Reproductive Freedom for All”.
This proposal would ensure that people have control over their own reproductive health, protecting an essential American freedom.
Vote Yes on proposal 3.
A vote for Democratic candidates at all levels of government this November is the best way to protect our freedoms, stop the corporate greed that is driving inflation, protect Social Security and Medicare, and protect our free and fair elections.
