Now with the news that Alpena will have a second cannabis shop, we have questions! We know that state, county, and city share the 6% sales tax. But is the dime of every dollar of cannabis sales tax going to city hall? If not, then where?

We see Mayor Matt Waligora appear on WBKB local TV news, so we hope he will talk about this tax. Of course, we should talk to our doctors first.

But because it now seems that we have more options in our health care tool box, the next question is: cannabis, Rx, or both?

We have heard that people use cannabis for pain, PTSD and hunger disorders, just to name a few. We also know that Rx drugs address these symptoms and many more.
