A court case accepted and decided incorrectly

This letter does not presume a position for or against abortion in general, nor Roe v. Wade specifically. It was written simply to remind you, the reader, that the Constitution of the United States of America is the law of the land. The Constitution clearly states that it was written for We the People, and, among other reasons, to form a more perfect union, to establish justice and insure domestic tranquility. Each depends on correct Supreme Court actions.

I was not delighted that an unknown Supreme Court document was taken and leaked to media and common discourse instead of being released within the specific dignity of the court itself. I am, however, delighted that the Supreme Court was, apparently, preparing to challenge itself and declare to our nation that the 49-year-old Roe v. Wade Texas court case was incorrectly accepted and applied.

Carefully read the 10th Amendment and my simple opinion: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” Therefore: The issue of abortion should clearly be returned to the states with specific court directions on how to constitutionally secure all state actions.

Whether you have chosen to side with abortion or spoken against it, a pursuit of an amendment to the Constitution remains the correct approach for your state and you. The constitutional amendment process has been applied 27 times in our Constitution’s existence. A 28th Amendment should not be difficult. The precise directions for an amendment are clear and the woman’s choice concept could, in time, be secured in our law of the land. On the other hand, it could be in the hands of each and every state. I have always recommended, ‘Choose wisely.’
