I was at Walmart recently. It was as if COVID never happened by the number of people present in the store. When I shop, I try my very best to avoid other shoppers, even though I'm masked and have had my first COVID immunization. But the other day was scary. So many people not even masked. Whole families not masked! I use the self-serve checkouts to avoid people and keep my distance. Do these people realize that sometimes people like me (I'm over 65 and not in the greatest health) have to be in the store when they can get a ride? Their behavior is putting us at risk! I would have gladly gone in the very early morning or very late night had I had a choice, but I did not. Please think of others.
