We need more love in the world and less hate
Your editorial in today’s paper (8-19-17) expresses my feelings exactly. Who could have imagined that those of us who grew up in the 60s would see our grandchildren living with the same civil unrest, rampant drug and substance abuse, and such hatred and bigotry as we see in our country today. Unfortunately, as long as Satan is the prince of this world (and it’s so obvious that he is) we can only expect things to get worse until Jesus comes again. In the meantime, all we can do is practice what He taught about loving our neighbors as ourselves, and pray for our countrymen and leaders. As the world shrinks smaller, and technology allows us to communicate instantly with people everywhere, let’s spread love and acceptance wherever and whenever we can.
