Elect Clowns, Expect a Circus
When community members attend a school board meeting they do so with the expectation their time will be spent in a useful manner. What they do not expect to witness is a clown-car side show production meant to prove some useless point. If the community members attending the August 25th school board meeting expected to see a group of elected officials conducting the urgent business of school priorities, they were certainly disappointed. It was a three-ring circus clown show. When you elect clowns to do the serious business of piloting a school system you will have a circus… people not serious about the success of students, but only interested in the success of their own agendas.
And what a clown show it was on August 25th! It is presumed board member, Monica Dziesinski, in some way facilitated the parade of interlopers who took over the meeting to talk about themselves and the objectives they have for the school boards in their counties of residence, which happen to be hundreds of miles from Alpena. It was a show meant to highlight, in some bizarre way, the priorities of the saboteurs on our school board… which is to forward their own ill-conceived and ill-intended plans for our school system.
When you elect clowns in the form of Monica Dziesinski, Sarah Costain, AJ MacArthur and Eric Lawson, stuff them into a little car and drive them to the school board meetings, you will always end up with a show. Sometimes what they do is a little bit funny.
Mostly, however, what they do is destructive. Creepy clowns. Creepy clowns with a bathroom fetish.
