With the lack of enough funds for our Public Schools, it is important that that money is spent wisely. Our children’s education should always come first.

I am concerned that school board members want to add another law firm when they have used the same one for 60 years. The new law firm has a trail of losses causing large sums of money for their representation.

We need to make sure that our kids get the education they need to become productive citizens. Wasting money on a bathroom issue just shows that some board members really do not care about our children but are pushing something that is not a problem in the Alpena Schools. Pushing bathroom restrictions will bring on lawsuits which our schools can’t afford. As a taxpayer I want my money spent on educating our children and not paying for lawsuits. Parents need to look into just what the School Board is doing and look up the Kallman Legal Group.
