ALBERT ORVILLE HAYWARD

Albert Orville Hayward, 85, of Hubbard Lake passed away Monday, June 6, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. Albert was born March 21, 1937, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Orville and Beulah (Fisher) Hayward. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Albert married Kay Fink in 1958. She preceded him in death in 1985. On Feb. 10, 2001, he married Linda Erickson. Albert was an active volunteer for Special Olympics and Friends Together. Barbara Louise Freier

FREIER, Barbara Louise, 82, of Ocqueoc, died at MediLodge of Rogers City on June 15, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Paul; her daughter, Valerie; two sisters, Ruth Ann (Duane) Koch and Joyce Buehrer; and five nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ocqueoc on Saturday, June 25 from 10 a.m. through time of her memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mary Hughes officiating. SOBCZAK, Leo James, 77, of Mead, Colorado, formerly of Alpena, Michigan, died at home on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021. Leo is survived by his wife, Jule, his son, Kevin (Bethany), three grandsons, Dominic, Lukasz, and Mason, two brothers, Florian (Patricia) of Alpena, and Harry of Colorado. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Holy Cross Cemetery with Deacon Michael Roy officiating. McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family.
