The world has lost another wonderful man. Robert “Bob” William Bartlomiej passed away June 22, 2022 at his home. Robert was born in Alpena, Michigan on Aug. 30, 1936. The son of the late Walter and Rose (Hilla) Bartlomiej, Bob graduated the Class of 1955 from Alpena Catholic Central High School. William James Collins, 68, of Alpena died at home on June 18, 2022, from lung cancer. He was born Oct. 30, 1953, to the late Fred and Irma (Couture) Collins. Bill was a lifelong resident of the area which he loved and made his home. From the beginning, Bill was known for his hard work and work ethic. Richard A. Chowen, 77, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2022. Richard Arthur Chowen was born on May 28, 1944, in Cheboygan, Michigan of Cecil and Alice (Dunham) Chowen. Richard was the youngest of four children. Rhoda (Chowen) Ross, Hugh, and Allan. Richard grew up on the family farm in Onaway, Michigan until heading off to college at DeVry University in Chicago, Illinois.
