Diana Marie Besky, 82, of Alpena passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. Diana Marie Przeslawski was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Alpena to the late Leo and Irene (Kwiatkowski) Przeslawski. On Nov. 29, 1957, she married Robert Besky. He preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 2000. Surviving are her four children, Beverly (Jerry) Smith, Debra (Victor) Ross, Robert Besky, John (Tracy) Besky; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Karen Westerguard. James Howard Hemmerly, 79, of Bradenton, Florida and Alpena passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, from a brain stem bleed in Saginaw, Michigan. James was born Jan. 20, 1943, in Alpena to Everett and Helen (Hampton) Hemmerly. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. James was a member of St. Bernard All Saints Parish, Marine Corp League, and American Legion. Mary Agnes Hincka, age 76, of Posen, passed away Oct. 3, 2022. She was born March 4, 1946 in Posen to Anthony and Elizabeth (Romel) Hincka. ALVIN RAY SHARP

Alvin Ray Sharp, 84, died Sept. 26, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 6, 1938, in Alpena, Michigan, the son of Arthur and Alice (Rouleau) Sharp. He married Dianne Pleiness on Sept. 14, 1985. Alvin served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. Those who knew Alvin well may remember that he worked many jobs over the years, but most would remember him for the many years he owned the Standard Oil/Amoco Jobber ship in Alpena. Thomas M. Kaminski, age 94, of Alpena, passed away on Sept. 30, 2022 at Medilodge of Alpena with his loving family at his side. Tom was born on July 7, 1928 in Alpena, Michigan to the late Michael and Anna (Izbrandt) Kaminski. Tom married Shirley (Convay) Aug. 27, 1949 in Alpena, Michigan. They spent 66 years of marriage together prior to her passing Sept. 22, 2015.
