ELEANOR LAURA SCHELLIE

Eleanor Laura Schellie, 85, of Alpena passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at home. Eleanor Laura Blemke was born April 20, 1937, in Presque Isle County to the late Edward and Selma (Wagner) Blemke. On Nov. 8, 1968, she married Edward Schellie, Jr. He preceded her in death Oct. 22, 2001. Eleanor was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena. Surviving are her five children, Lynette (Mike Woodruff) Schellie, Dennis (Nancy) Schellie, Dewayne (Patti) Schellie, Darl Schellie, Alan Schellie; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Elmer (Beverly) Blemke. Jason Fletcher, 45, of Alpena passed away Dec. 19, 2022 following a courageous battle with cancer. Jason was born Jan. 16, 1977 in St. Clair, Michigan. He was a life-long resident of the Hillman area where he gained a lot of long-time friendships he cherished as well as meeting the love of his life, Christine whom he would marry on July 17, 1999. USTASZEWSKI, Beverly Jean, 71 of Alpena, died Dec. 14, 2022 at MyMichigan Health in Midland. Beverly is survived by her children, Kurt (Stacy) Zinke, Richard Zinke and Melissa Zinke; a granddaughter Teagen; siblings, Sandy White, Tim Lijewski, Edward Lijewski, Joan Ravezzani, Lester Lijewski and Mary Vining. Joanne Dault, 87, of Alpena was called home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Dec. 17, 2022. Joanne was born June 4, 1935 in Alpena to the late Seth and Louise (Betka) Johnson. On June 12, 1954 she married Earl Dault. The two of them enjoyed many things together including their time on their hobby farm where Joanne also tended her garden. She also enjoyed bingo, cooking, keeping a tidy house, and family gatherings which always involved lots of card playing. Joanne was also an avid reader, especially her Bible.
