Feb. 6, 1952 - July 17, 2023 Keith Randall “Butch” Sorenson Jr., 71, of Alpena, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, July 17, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. He was a kind, caring, and fun, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be dearly missed. Butch was born on Feb. 6, 1952 in Alpena to the late Keith Sr. and Shirley (Irwin) Sorenson. He was a graduate of Alpena High School. Butch was a career Truck Driver for over 27 years with the Teamsters. Irene Donajkowski, 91, of Alpena passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at MediLodge of Alpena. She is survived by her children; Floyd, Roy, John, Mary, Ervin (Cheryl), Paulette, Michael (Sally), and Stevie (Lynn) Donajkowski. Arrangements will be announced in a future edition of The Alpena News. McWilliams Funeral Home is serving the family.

Timothy Lankheet, 68, passed away July 16, 2023. Tim was born in Alpena to the late Earl and Rhea (Cunningham) Lankheet. Surviving are his sons, Ben, Mike (Kendall), Chris (Morgan); grandson, Rowen; brother, Bill (Kathy); sister, and Ann (Tom) Losinski. Tim was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
