Rosemary T. Gordon, 82, of Alpena died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, at her home.
Rosemary Wolowiec was born in Detroit to the late Albin and Regina (Uraszwski) Wolowiec. On Feb. 28, 1975, she married Duncan Gordon. He preceded in death on Oct. 3, 2001. Rose worked for many years at the Chrysler Company, later for mental health and the Alpena Road Commission. She was a past member of the National Secretary's Association and enjoyed doing diamond dots and crocheting. Rose was a kind and generous friend that had an instant impact on everyone she met. She was welcoming to all neighbors at Pinecrest Apartments.
Surviving are her close friend "daughter", Schyla (Larry) Orcutt, the Orcutt family, two brothers, Albin (Yvonne) Wolowiec, Jr., Francis (Kathleen) Wolowiec; four stepchildren, Kathleen, Joan, Susan, David; and her "Coco" that will miss her greatly.
Rose was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Wolowiec.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, from 2 p.m. until the time of the parish prayer service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Emmanuel Finbarr officiating.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Make a Wish Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Shrine's Hospital for Children.
