Denise Marie Ritthaler, 72, of Warren died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at Corewell Health Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak.
Denise Marie Miela was born in Hamtramck on April 10, 1954, to the late Vincent and Virginia (Mason) Miela. On May 11, 1974, she married Dennis Ritthaler. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2019. Denise enjoyed shopping trips, going to Las Vegas and casinos. She was a caregiver and always loved helping others. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warren for over 40 years.
Surviving are her two daughters, Kelly (Ryan) Malloy, Kristy (Andrew) Hicks; three grandchildren, Savannah, Conner, Carson; five siblings, Deborah (Gloria Gold) Miela, Valerie (Greg) Fleck, Donna (Sue Tranor) Miela, Pamela (Dan) Duwe, Paul (Sherry) Miela; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church - Hubbard Lake from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Llewellyn officiating.
