Sheri Lynn Prena, 70, of Alpena passed away on September 14, 2026, at her home.
Sheri was born in Alpena on June 17, 1956, to the late Russell and Delores (Cameron) Brilinski. She married Ralph Prena on July 26, 1986. They just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Sheri was a devoted member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Ossineke. She was the church secretary for four years and also worked for the school system. Sheri loved to go camping with family and friends. She loved baking cookies with her granddaughter Alexa and going boating with her sons.
Sheri is survived by her husband, Ralph; three sons, William (Cassie) Prena, Christopher Prena, Eric (Haley) Prena; one granddaughter, Alexa; two sisters, Joan Eagle and Carol (Ronald) Pohl; one brother, David Brilinski; one sister-in-law, Shelby Brilinski; and several nieces and nephews.
Sheri was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary and Robert Brilinski.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 2-8 p.m. and will continue at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating.
