Lorin Edgar Crosby, III, 67, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at his home.
Lorin was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 8, 1959, to the late Lorin and Mary Lou (Swartzbaugh) Crosby, II. On May 25, 1990, he married Tamyra Thiem. He served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. Lorin worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many years, logging over 7 million miles. He enjoyed antique cars and working in his garden.
Surviving are his wife, Tamyra; three children, Meagan (Scott) Webb, Lucas (girlfriend, Alexandria Villarreal) Crosby, Derrick (girlfriend, Mackenzie Precord) Crosby; two grandchildren, Matthew and Renee Webb; sister, Glynnis Crosby; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Lorin's life will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
