Jamie Lou Clark (Josey), 75, of Lachine, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan.
Jamie was born in Alpena, Michigan, on June 13, 1951, to the late James and June (Black) Josey.
Jamie enjoyed working in her garden, quilting, cooking, and spending time with family. For the last 40 years, she spent much of her time in the kitchen at her restaurant, cooking and baking for the community or serving customers at her store.
Jamie also loved quilting and made sure each of her grandchildren received a hand-sewn quilt, made by her loving hands.
Jamie was well known for her strong work ethic and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a devoted follower of Christ, and her faith guided every decision she made. Jamie was a reliable source of answers and guidance, and she was always present for anyone who needed someone to turn to.
Her never-ending selfless acts of kindness are just one of the things she will be remembered for, also her spirit, wisdom, and all the love she shared.
Surviving are her two children, Brenda Clark and Melanie Linton; eight grandchildren, Joseph Clark, Ashley Crevier, Justin Clark, Chesney (Luke) Robbins, Shelby Linton, Hailey Linton, Katelyn Linton, Calee (Damian) Paxton; and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers James D (Cindy) Josey, Jack (Peggy) Josey; sisters Jeanne (Kim) Dow and Julie (James) Panknin.
Jamie was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Clark, and her parents, James E and June Josey.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Beaver Lake Community Church from 10am until the service at 2pm with Pastor Chris Sanders officiating. Interment to follow at Spratt Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted with McWilliams Funeral Home.
