Timothy Alfred Abram, 79, of Alpena and Saginaw died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at his home in Saginaw, surrounded by his loving family.
Timothy was born in Saginaw on June 18, 1947, to the late Irving and Lorraine (Hertz) Abram and married Janet Easlick on July 29, 1967. Tim did many things throughout his lifetime, including being a chimney sweep, worked as a salesman/driver for McDonald's Dairy and Ace Hardware. He was the founding pastor of The Message of Love and Forgiveness Church in Petoskey, enjoyed playing and coaching softball, basketball and picking stone along Michigan's lake shores and studying lapidary. His love for God's creations lead him to learn to paint canvas of flowers.
Surviving are his wife, Janet; two children, Tammie (Gregory) Deschermeier, Timothy (Barbara) Abram, II; four grandchildren, Jamie, Jenna, Seth, Jessica; two sisters, Carol Chisholm, Peggy (Mike) Schaffer; and two nephews.
In this time of mourning, we as a family are standing on the Word of God which reads (phar) to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8 and because we believe this as a family we are reassured he is no longer in pain and in a better place. Thank You for your understanding.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. A private graveside service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
