Rhonda Jeannine Smith, 73, of Spruce died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Reese.
Rhonda Jeannine Goetz was born in Detroit on April 8, 1953, to the late Conrad and Sandra (Pyatt) Goetz. On Sept. 4, 1976, she married John Randall Smith. He preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 2021.
She is survived by her son, Mike (Jess) Smith; Stacey Rayl (Mike Johnston), Kelly (Jason) Yeager; 10 grandchildren, Miranda (Cody) Martin, Keegan (Sierra) Smith, Alli (Chad) Cole, Elliyana, Adriana Grimshaw, Jordan, Melissa Rayl (Draven Clark), Ryan Johnston, Cooper, Kennedy Yeager; six great grandchildren, Addison, Amelia Martin, Tatum, Haiden, Ellory Smith, Clayton Clark; siblings, Debra (Jerome) Buback, Marta Belbot, Linda Esmont, Lisa (David) Dicken.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by husband John Randall Smith, father Conrad Goetz, mother Sandra Goetz, sister Donna Upright, and grandson Zachary Yeager.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at Hope Lutheran Church form 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Victor Joanne Gallagher officiating.
