Heather Marie Plater, 62, of Presque Isle passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at her home.
Heather was born in Alpena on Aug. 23, 1963, to the late Charles and Dolores (Oravitz) Plater.
Surviving are her companion, Michael Freeman; 3 siblings, Terry Kiernan, Richard (Gloria) Plater, Scott Plater; sister-in-law, Karen Plater; several nieces and nephews.
Heather was preceded in death by sister, Debbie Foley and brother, Doug Plater.
Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home and a private graveside service at Presque Isle Twp. Cemetery will take place. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
