Gary Patrick Teall, 73, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Gary Patrick Teall was born in St. Mary's, Maryland on October 26, 1952, to the late Floyd and Donna (O'Neil) Teall. On August 29, 1980, he married Mary Serbnik and have been together for 46 years. Gary joined the United States Army in 1972 where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic until 1975 when he was honorably discharged. Gary was always wrenching on something or loved being outside either hunting or fishing. He would also love to enjoy a beer after a long day. Gary also had a love for gardening. Most of all Gary loved to spend time with his loving family.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; three sons, Jeremy (Stacie SantAmour) Teall, Shane (Barb Treinen) Teall, Josh (Stephanie Schalk) Teall; six grandchildren, Austin, Kade, Hope, Taylor, Haley and Emmerson.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother-in-law; Virginia Suszek.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. with Rev. Emmanuel Finbarr officiating, followed by military honors accorded him by VFW Alpena Post 2496. A special thank you goes out to the whole team at Compassus Hospice.
