Albert William Dault, 74, of Lachine passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026, at his home.
Albert was born in Alpena on December 9, 1951, to Arthur and Virginia (VanWormer) Dault and married Rebecca Bates on August 16, 1983. Al served in the United States Army tank battalion stationed in Germany. Following his honorable discharge, he worked and retired from General Motors in 2010. He was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church - Hubbard Lake, serving as an Elder, men's ministry, past Scout leader, but was his happiest in the outdoors.
Surviving are his wife, Rebecca, 4 children, Ryan (Michelle) Dault, Anthony (Janice) Dault, Aarron (Ashley) Dault, Krista (Justin) Oskey; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, his mother, Virginia Dault; 2 sisters, Julie Barnes, Linda (Tom) Brazeal; several nieces and nephews.
Albert was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Dault; infant sister, Jill; 2 brothers, Ronnie Dault and Paul Dault.
Memorial visitation will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church - Hubbard Lake from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Llewellyn officiating, followed by military honors by VFW Alpena Post 2496. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
