Leon LeFaivre
Leon Maurice LeFaivre, 91, of Lachine died Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at his home.
Leon was born in Royal Oak on Jan. 24, 1935, to the late William and Hazel (Erway) LeFaivre. On July 2, 1960, he married Marion Laurette. She preceded him in death on March 16, 2013. Leon served in the United States Army. He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals, hunting and panning for gold.
Surviving are four children, Janice (Phil) Lynn, Lori (Robert) Walmsley, Michael (Suzanne) LeFaivre, Steven (Julie) LeFaivre; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three siblings, Leslie (Carol) LeFaivre, Janet McGraw, Linda (Paul) Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. LeFaivre was preceded in death by two siblings, Frances Seybert, and Antwon “Bud” LeFaivre.
Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home. A celebration of Leon’s life will take place later this summer.
