Clyde Steve Reiter, 86, of Hillman, died on March 26, 2026. Clyde was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on July 13, 1939 to the late Steve and Rose Reiter. He was a graduate of Altoona High School class of ’57. He married his wife, Thelma Jean Cook, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman on May 6, 1961. He worked for General Motors and retired after 40 years of service in 1998. He was an avid outdoorsman and thoroughly enjoyed fixing anything that was broken, for whoever needed it. He was an honest, hardworking man and a great Dad.
He is survived by his five children, Tim, Mike (Barb), Karen, Jeanne, and Pat; grandchildren, Seth, Ben (Breann), Ryan, Wyatt; and great-granddaughter, Ramona. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Jean and his parents, Steve and Rose.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Hillman; Rev. Ben Martin officiating.
