Alphonse G. LaFleche

Phonse was born in Royston on September 23, 1947, to the late Alphonse J. and Elizabeth (Creamer) LaFleche. He was the youngest of 14 children. He served in the United States Army as a staff sergeant. He had a lot of good friends, especially Nathan Hubbard and would take the shirt off his back to help family and friends.

Surviving are 5 five siblings, Ken LaFleche, Rosemary (Art) Hunt, Pat (Susan) LaFleche, Margaret (Jim) Cavanagh, Glen LaFleche, sisters-in-law, Joan LaFleche and Jackie LaFleche; several nieces and nephews.

Phonse was preceded in death by siblings and their spouses, Joseph (Lorene) LaFleche, George (Dorothy) LaFleche, Gerald (Elaine) LaFleche, Betty (Donald) Dubie, Don LaFleche, Albert (Marjean) LaFleche, Mary Ann (Gary) Brown, Merlin LaFleche, Geri LaFleche and Karen LaFleche.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026, at St. Augustine Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Benjamin Martin officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Inurnment: St. Augustine Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church or Hospice of Michigan.
