Mary ‘Polly’ F. Zielaskowski

Mary Christine Fritz was born in Flint on Feb. 22, 1970, to Michael and Margaret (McTurnan) Fritz. Polly will be remembered as a loving mom and homemaker who created a welcoming environment for her family and friends. She would help anyone in any way that she possibly could. She enjoyed decorating, quilting, volunteering around the community and had a love for all animals.

Surviving are her two children, Alec (Alayna Houghten) Zielaskowski, Lauren Zielaskowski, her mother, Margaret Fritz; sister, Angela (Laura Pickell) Fritz; nephew, Wyatt Fritz; and extended family.

Polly was preceded in death by her father, Michael Fritz.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Emmanuel Finbarr officiating.
